Male Human Fighter - 28mm Paper Mini by Pasiphilo Male Human Fighter - 28mm Paper Mini by Pasiphilo
To get the printer-ready PDF, click "Download File" in the upper-right of this page.

This stoic swordsman is my first attempt at creating a 2-dimensional 28mm miniature for use with tabletop roleplaying games such as Pathfinder and Dungeons & Dragons.

I'm thinking of creating an entire series or two, but first I wanted to get some feedback on this initial "prototype" from the RPG crowd here.

So go ahead and download him, print him out, assemble him, throw him into the fray of your battlemat battles, and let me know how he does. All feedback is appreciated!

Artwork drawn in PhotoShop CS with my graphics tablet; printed out on 4x6" photo paper; cut out, assembled and mounted on a foamcore base.

This - and your elven sorceress - look fantastic, but am I missing something? I cannot see a download file link....

Thanks for that!! They don't make it easy to find do they... lol!

Look forward to trying out the two samples with my gamers - will try and pick up one or two of your commercial sets in the future!

Awesome idea! Sure beats endlessly searching for the perfect mini or having Frankenstein bits together. You should take requests.

Oh, oh, do a character or species in 4 or 5 different poses and we could print off armies!

Perhaps a lines only version for the painters?

I'm just not sure what you mean by "high-resolution" paper in your instructions. Is that like photo quality stock?

Thanks, man! I'm having fun creating them. I've got a female elven sorcerer in the works, now. These first one-off's are my R&D prior to creating several series, like you say.

Offering a lineart only version is a good idea. Maybe it would be best to simply offer the lineart in an isolated layer or in PNG for digital painters to colour.

Yeah, I just mean photo paper, which prints a sharper image. You lose a lot of detail if you print them on card stock. I think I'll edit the instructions so they're more clear.
